' Article 47 of the 1990 Croatian Constitution declares that: " Military service
and the defence of the Republic is the duty of all capable citizens". Conscription is regulated by the Defence Law, published in 1991 and by the regulations on Military and Civilian Service.
A recruit may not be sent for military service before reaching the age of 18,
however in the event of "imminent threat to the independence and integrity of
the Republic of Croatia or in the event of war", the President can decree that
the recruitment of persons who have attained the age of 16 years and require
that 17 year old recruits serve military service.
Applications for voluntary recruitment can be made in the year a person
reaches  the age of 17, and thus could include 16 year olds'.

We are an informal group when on display with a relaxed feeling amongst our members. We like to place few rules upon our members 'BUT WILL NOT COMPROMISE WITH REGARDS TO SAFETY'. Should you join us it is hoped that you enjoy your time within the group. We are so far unique in that we are the only known group within the field of Living History to be portraying this conflict and in particular the Croatian Army. Thank you for taking an interest in who we are and what we do, should you be interested in taking things further please come and see us at our next event, or email your details to cflhg@talk21.com
