Membership is open to both MALES &
FEMALES who
are interested in the historic portrayal of the Croatian combat soldier of
the 1990's conflict. The

(16); there is no upper age limit.
Requirements and
Guidelines
Below are the
current requirements and guidelines that members should abide by in
order to maintain their status as an active display member of the
CFLHG;
Members
are to obtain their own uniform, weapon and equipment items at their own
expense. (A full kit inspection
of all group members will be
carried out each morning, any items that are
out of character for the period or forces we portray will be requested to be
removed before the member(s)
enter the display area)
Members
should make their own travel arrangements in order to get to event
locations.
Members are required to
attend a
MINIMUM
of one display event within an
annual event season. Members
are responsible for their own camping facilities when attending events.
(If
sleeping within the display confines, members tents are required
to be of military issue so as to maintain a realistic military appearance
upon
the
Living History field. Modern civilian tents will not be
allowed within the display area).
We are
an informal group when on display with a relaxed feeling amongst our
members.
We like to place few rules
upon our members
'BUT WE WILL NOT COMPROMISE WITH REGARDS TO SAFETY'.
Should you join us it is hoped that you enjoy your time within the
group. We are so far unique in that we are the only known group
within the field of Living History to be portraying this conflict
and in particular the Croatian Army. We Thank you for taking
an interest in who we are and what we do, should you be interested
in taking things further please come and see us at one of our future
events, or email your details to
cflhg@talk21.com
All members are to abide by any
group/event stipulated Health & Safety and General Conduct rules, members
who violate (or continue to violate following
previous warnings) such rules
may be expelled from the group (following the overall consensus of other
members) depending upon the severity of the
violation. Whilst we all enjoy
socialising at these events, members are reminded that their behaviour
reflects not only on themselves but also upon the group as a whole, any
complaints received from other groups or event organisers referring to any
members behaviour could dependent upon the severity also lead to them being
expelled. (Enjoy your drink and time with everyone, but keep things civil,
it's not much to ask).
Under
NO
circumstances are members permitted to carry live or blank
firing
ammunition at events (we do not participate in any battle re-enactments and
as such do not have a need for these), inert ammunition is permitted.
Safety is strictly enforced and any violations
WILLNOT
be tolerated. All firearms used on display
must be legally deactivated as either old or new specification with an A5 copy of the weapons original
Proof House deactivation certificate supplied to the membership secretary upon
purchase of such weapons.
The models of weapons suitable for display use
within our military period are easily & cheaply found now, and as such
members are expected to display with a deactivated weapon,
we do not
allow
'air soft'
weapons for display use.
Weare
an historical group and not an air soft group, it is felt that we can not be
expected to correctly demonstrate our groups weapons to the public if the
type of
weapon shown is not an authentic period item. Any member (s) found to be in violation of the
UK Firearms Regulations will be expelled from the group and
reported to the appropriate authorities.
