Enlistment

If you are thinking of joining our group then please take the time to read through the following guidelines that all members are expected to follow in order to maintain their status as a member

Eligibility of Membership
Membership is open to both MALES & FEMALES who are interested in the historic portrayal of the Croatian combat soldier of the 1990's conflict. The minimum age of membership is sixteen (16); there is no upper age limit.

Below are the current requirements and guidelines that members should abide by in order to maintain their status as an active display member of the CFLHG;
Members are to obtain their own uniform, weapon and equipment items at their own expense. (A full kit inspection of all group members will be carried out each morning, any items that are out of character for the period or forces we portray will be requested to be removed before the member (s) enter the display area)
Members should make their own travel arrangements in order to get to event locations. Members are required to attend a MINIMUM of one display event within an annual event season.
Members are responsible for their own camping facilities when attending events. (If sleeping within the display confines, members tents are required to be of military issue so as to maintain a realistic military appearance upon the Living History field. Modern civilian tents will not be allowed within the display area).

Under NO circumstances are members permitted to carry live or blank firing ammunition at events (we do not participate in any battle re-enactments and as such do not have a need for the above), inert ammunition is permitted. Safety is strictly enforced and any violations WILL NOT be tolerated. All firearms used on display must be legally deactivated as either old or new specification with an A5 copy of the weapons original Proof House deactivation certificate supplied to the membership secretary upon purchase of such weapons. The models of weapons suitable for display use within our military period are easily & cheaply found now, and as such members are expected to display with a deactivated weapon, we do not any longer allow 'air soft' weapons for display use. We are an historical group and not an air soft group, it is felt that we can not be expected to correctly demonstrate our groups weapons to the public if the type of weapon shown is not an authentic period item.
Any member (s) found to be in violation of the UK Firearms Regulations will be expelled from the group and reported to the appropriate authorities.
